Manchester Waters represents one of the final large-scale regeneration projects in Manchester, a key city within the Northern Powerhouse. The waterfront development will feature an exclusive range of studio, one and two bedroom apartments once finished.
A former 26 acre dockland site between Castlefield and Salford Quays will be regenerated through the Manchester Waters scheme. Both Trafford and Manchester City Councils have approved and adopted a formal masterplan for the site, which has the potential to deliver over 2,500 new residential homes.
The regeneration of Manchester Waters and the adjoining Cornbrook Hub will establish a new destination. This includes residential apartments in a city-living style, with heights up to 20-storeys, alongside multi-tenure development options suited to young professionals and families.
The development occupies the north-eastern gateway to Trafford and sits close to the region’s most successful and fastest-growing business and employment hub. Manchester Waters therefore holds significant strategic importance in the city’s growth.
