Lake Como, Valle Intelvi ,Casasco. House with nice view, Casasco D'intelvi, Italy

At an altitude of 800 meters  on the sunny side of Valle Intelvi,  overlooking the lake Como  and the  mountains , there is this  lovely house to provide its guests a magical stay in this beautiful village.

The house is a stylish, traditional 1800 period house surrounded by the  mountains  of lake Como.

 Once it was the home of the village's barber, and his own shop was on the ground floor of the house , with the traditional window  where perfumes and soaps were proudly displayed.

The house has been carefully maintained and every window frames is a picturesque view of the valley and the Lake Como  . 

It is arranged on 3 floors plus the basement .

The entrance opens to the old barber shop,  today it is  a comfortable  kitchen but that retains the old barber windows.  A small lounge with a fantastic and original fire place is immediately connected to the kitchen  , perfect for a chat with family and friends after a dinner

The elegant staircase  lands to the upper floor where  is placed the ensuite room and  a spacious dressing room .  This room could be  changed into a bedroom if necessary.

Continuing  along the bright staircase, each landing has a panoramic window, we reach the attic floor , fully dedicated to a wide living area . This floor could be changed into a second ensuite bedroom, easily. There is a balcony at this floor looking towards the mountains and a wide window enjoys the lake como view.

The basement is offering a charming double bedroom, bathroom and laundry corner.

It is a small house, a little fairy, in the center of Casasco Intelvi,  a very ancient village.

Walking through the historic  village of Casasco Intelvi, art, history and nature, ancient gates, frescoes, secluded spots and wide views are all around. The little stone paths that wind between the houses always hide pleasant surprises .

Casasco Intelvi is few minutes by car from San Fedele intelvi, the bigger village of the Valle Intelvi, that offers many facilities such as supermarkets , shops, restaurants and bars.

Argegno, the village placed at the foot of the Valle Intelvi and on the shores of the Lake Como, is 15 minutes by car.

For sports lovers the Valley intelvi offers many possibilities, as well as  golf in Lanzo, tennis courts, horseback riding, skiing in winter. Beautiful hiking trails are  at hand.
