Lecce (50 minutes by car).
The customers of the Bed & Breakfast are families, couples and small groups of friends, generally interested in one
relaxing holiday in the name of the sea, trips to caves, visits to historic villages and village festivals, tasting
of the typical Salento cuisine.
The two buildings originate from the early 1900s, characterized by ceilings with corner vaults (called "star") and
cask, exposed tuff walls and floors in local stone and majolica from Salento.The restructuring has been carried out
in two phases, the first in 2014 (number 28) and the second in 2016 (number 22).The was recovered as much as possible
original character of the structures, safeguarding the history and the precious original architecture and details (aimed at
star, tuff bricks, stones, furnishings, fixtures, amphorae...), all reinterpreted in a contemporary key.One particular
attention has been given to the comfort, the healthiness of the rooms and the functionality of the environments: plants of the last
generation, coats and insulation on the walls, art of restoration techniques, all the comforts for
experience the environments in every season of the year, both for the owner and for the guests.The furnishings are partly made
through the restoration, recovery and reinterpretation of the original furnishings.
PROPERTY AT THE CIVIC 28:
The structure is on three levels: ground floor, first and first floor.
Entering from Via A.Diaz, guests are welcomed in an entrance hall, made up of two star vaults, used by
reception, winter breakfast room, bar area (with fridge, coffee machine, microwave, kettle...) and reading room e
games.
A porch on the back leads to the garden and allows access to the different accommodations, except for two
rooms that have direct and independent access from Via A.Diaz.
The first accommodation on the right of the back porch is a two-room apartment on the ground floor of a living room
dining room with kitchenette with a portion of an exclusive garden and bathroom set in an old oven
therefore characterized by the exposed tuff walls and the barrel vault; on the first floor there is a bedroom with a bed
double and bunk bed.
The second accommodation, located on the left side of the porch is a bedroom with a double bed, single bed and bathroom, it is
characterized by exposed tuff walls, which make it very romantic.
From the open rear, a staircase leads to the first floor where there are two apartments.
The first two-room apartment, located on the right of the veranda, is composed of a living room with a kitchenette complete with
dishwasher, double sofa bed, while an internal staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a bedroom
with double bed and bunk bed, bathroom and terrace of 25 sqm of exclusive relevance.
