THE PROPERTY: Chemung County is one of New York States premier whitetail deer counties. Annual harvests average 3-5 adult buck taken per square mile. LOCATION To access the South Mountain Tract; from the village of Watson travel south on State Route 10 for 5 miles to South River Road and turn east (South River Road is the first road on the east side of the highway after crossing the West Branch Delaware River). Travel 1 mile to the property access road, a small gravel road on the east side.
