Farnè is one of those villages that you often meet in our mountains: the ones you just get there by car...after the first corner you are already out of the village!

The house is right above the town of Farnè, in a dominant and well exposed position: from here you can see the whole Dardagna valley, the mountains of the shore and the ancient hamlet of Casa Lanzi...
So I arrive in front of the gate, it's summer, the house is right above me, I see it is all nice and tidy, full of flowers and free from all sides.
All around there is nobody, only silence, sun and lots of light, 1500 meters of garden and 1500 meters of wood.
Through the gate, I park the car and walk along the paved road that leads me to the house.The house is the classic typical house of the area: all in stone, about 10x5 on two floors with the accessories on the back.All renovated it also has an attic served by systems and practicable.
Access is independent on the side overlooking the valley and anticipated by the garden, both protected by two large oak trees which also serve as shading.In this garden it must be really nice to have lunch or rest on summer days and enjoy the cool of the evening.
I enter the house on the right, I have the eat-in kitchen and further on a large bathroom with shower, on the left a beautiful illuminated room opens up, a window overlooking the valley with a relaxation area overlooking the inevitable stone fireplace.
I approach and peek out of the window: the view starts from the river valley and climbs the mountains, on the ridge, until it gets lost in the blue of the sky which today is zebra-striped with clouds...
From the hall a suggestive wooden staircase that leads upstairs to the sleeping area.Here I have two double bedrooms and one single, a comfortable bathroom with a shower corner.
This floor is very nice, especially the dressing room.
Also part of the same property is the plot of wood above the villa of about 1500sqm.
The altitude is about 710mslm

This area is very beautiful and is ideal if you love the mountains and love hiking, horseback riding or even an electric mountain bike.In these areas you can also go canoeing, skiing, ice skating, golf and much more.
Here you are halfway between the two top ski resorts in Emilia Romagna: Cimone at half an hour and Corno alle Scale at 15 minutes by car, for a total of 86 km of well-maintained and equipped slopes.
The property is located halfway between Fanano / Sestola, and Lizzano / Vidiciatico: mountain towns that have earned the reputation of "pearls of the Apennines" for their timeless beauty.
All this wonder is about 1 hour from Modena (Pavarotti and Bottura), Bologna and Maranello (Ferrari factory and museum); about 2 hours from Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Verona, Ravenna, Parma and about 2 hours from the sea of Forte dei Marmi.
